About Software Tailor
Software Tailor is a Hong Kong company founded in 2007. We've delivered for 6+ Fortune Global 500 customers and 15+ named enterprises with zero project failures, won five open-competition awards along the way, and built a small AI-product line on Microsoft Store. The same engineering culture now runs an AI-accelerated software-development practice for businesses outside Hong Kong and mainland China that need unrestricted access to current AI tooling.
Nothing Is Impossible.
It's been Software Tailor's motto since day one in 2007. It's not a poster on the wall — it's the standard we hold the team to. Customers told us, repeatedly, that this is the line they remembered most. It's the reason we're keeping it on the company front door alongside the new pitch.
Five awards. 6+ Global 500. Zero failures.

Responsible local AI
Cloud LLM providers do not work for every organisation. Healthcare records, financial transactions, government documents, and confidential R&D cannot leave the perimeter. Cloud-only AI architectures push these organisations into either an unsafe choice (send the data anyway) or no AI at all.
Software Tailor exists to give them a third option: generative AI that runs inside the customer's network, on the customer's hardware, with the customer's audit logs. We pair this with an AI-accelerated software development practice so the same customers can also build with AI, not just consume it.
We say "no" to projects we think will harm users, mislead, or fail compliance review. Responsible AI is a design constraint for us, not a marketing veneer.
Three principles
- Data stays where the customer puts it.
- Audit lives in the customer's IT environment.
- Use AI to build, don't just resell it.
Tailoring, accelerated by AI
Small senior teams
Engagements are sized around senior engineers, not headcount. AI fills the role that large junior teams used to fill in the work breakdown.
Weekly demos, written status
You see working software every week. Status reports go in writing. No surprise scope creep, no end-of-project surprises.
Source code handed over
Code and documentation belong to you throughout the engagement, not at the end. No vendor lock-in by design.
