What we need you to test
- Create learners in two age bands and compare the course language and safeguards.
- Complete part of a lesson, restart the app and check progress recovery.
- Ask the live teacher a clear and an ambiguous question; inspect uncertainty and age fit.
- Run a hands-on demo and verify that cross-app actions are explained and confirmed first.
- Exercise keyboard navigation, resizing, theme/language changes and interruption recovery.
Inside the app
A dedicated Labs missions page holds the same brief, saves completion on your device and opens the existing issue reporter. Reported issues include the app version and diagnostics only under the app’s existing consent controls; conversations and replies appear in the issue inbox.
Test statistics and consent
The in-app Labs agreement asks for explicit consent before any Labs measurement starts. If accepted, the app records content-free session uptime, time on code-defined app pages and counts of code-defined feature actions, associated with pseudonymous install and machine identifiers. It never sends lesson text, questions, answers, prompts, files, paths or document content. Consent can be withdrawn at any time in Settings.
Expiry and clock protection
The hard stop is compiled into this binary and cannot be extended by the website. At every cold start, the app obtains nonce-bound UTC over HTTPS from softwaretailor.com, then advances time with a monotonic process clock. It never trusts the Windows wall clock for expiry. If trusted time cannot be verified, the app fails closed and offers Retry.
Recognition
People who provide meaningful, reproducible reports and follow through on questions may receive monthly or annual subscription licences when AI Academy launches. Active constructive testers remain eligible for future Labs builds. Rewards are discretionary; raw report count is never the measure.
