Packs are sold in the Software Tailor Store only. Each pack is delivered as separate licence keys — one for AI Server, one for AI Client — that activate like any other key.
How licences are counted
- One Commercial licence per running server. In a farm, that means one per worker.
- The AI Gateway is not counted. It is a mode of AI Server that you get with Commercial; gateway nodes use no seat.
- Restarts and rescheduled containers reuse their seat. A stopped server hands its seat back, so autoscaling does not strand licences.
- One key covers all your servers — buy the number you run, and every server activates with the same key.
- AI Client and AI Suite apps on desks are licensed separately per user or device; they are not needed for your own code calling the API.

Questions
Do I pay per user or per request? +
Neither. AI Server is priced per running server. Usage is not metered or billed, however many requests your team makes.
What happens when a subscription ends? +
The server drops to Free at its next licence check: it keeps serving its own computer, and stops serving the network until you renew.
Is there a trial? +
The Free edition is a permanent, full local server. To trial network serving and governance, start a monthly Pro subscription and cancel it if it does not suit you.
